Full-time internship in an internationally-oriented firm operating in the tourism industry. The goal was to provide the whole Sales & Operations department with a valid support in all the daily activities. This involved working on autonomous projects and several client service activities, in sales and in the presales sphere, with a focus on maximizing customer satisfaction. My responsibilities included processing of the many museum ticket orders received through the company's website, all related correspondence with both suppliers and clients, and senior sales support, as well as several marketing, business development, and production department projects. The projects were varied. One was about cleaning up an existing database, heavily used for ongoing campaigns to travel agents working with the company. I also executed several campaigns to these business partners including new welcome packets and account creation. For the production department I did extensive research on price and product comparison with the competitors as well as assisting with the update of product
presentation through an improved picture catalog. Lastly I worked with the Director of Digital Marketing on the online reputation management project.

About me
From June to October 2013 I have been a guest Master student at Department of Economics, Copenhagen Business School in order to write my Master Dissertation with title “The challenge of opting-out: the case of Denmark” under the supervision of Professor Svend Erik Hougaard Jensen (Copenhagen Business School) jointly with Professor Pietro Alessandrini (Marche Polytechnic University). On September 20th-21st 2013 I have participated as technical assistant at the conference on “Reform Capacity and Macroeconomic Performance in the Nordic Countries” hosted by Copenhagen Business School. From August 2011 to June 2012 I have been participating to LLP/ERASMUS Program at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway). Used to work in team and in different environmental conditions: from September 1997 to June 2011 I
played volleyball at agonistic and semiprofessional level, winning 2 National Youth Championships. I have stopped temporarily this activity to participate to the LLP/Erasmus Program. In June 2009, after a 2 years course (with international teachers and several exams) I have been awarded the license of “Volleyball Coach – 1° Level” by Italian Volleyball Federation. I also played chess for 4 years at agonistic level. I participated in the selection for the National Youth team for the World Cup. I stopped this activity to focus on volleyball.
I even studied classic guitar for 4 years and, even if I left the studies (because of University and sport), I continue to play it as hobby. Last but not least, my biggest passion is definitely to travel.
